Fish Drop Third Straight

The Miami Marlins lost their third consecutive game on Friday as the Philadelphia Phillies came away 4-1 winners.   The loss was the fourth in five games vs Philadelphia on the year and moved Miami to 8-22 on the year.  Also getting worse was their road record which is now at 3-11.  At the current pace, Miami will come close to challenging the 1962 New York Mets for worst record in MLB history. Miami Drops Second Straight

The Philadelphia Phillies came away 7-2 winners on Thursday as the Miami Marlins fell to a MLB worst 8-21.  The game was close until the Phillies added three runs in the eighth inning to secure the win.  It was the second loss in a row for Miami following their first winning streak of the season.     The loss was also the third in four tries vs the Phillies. Streak Comes To An End

The Miami Marlins saw their season high three game winning streak come to an end on Wednesday as the New York Mets took the game 7-6.   Miami did win the series however to give them their first series win of the year.   The loss was the 20th of the season for the Marlins and was a wild contest that featured a subpar appearance from the bullpen.
