
The Miami Marlins came back in the ninth inning to tie the game but ultimately lost 5-3 to the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. Jose Fernandez was out-dueled by Mat Latos but both starters came away with no decisions as the game went ten innings. The loss was the 30th of the year for Miami as the team dropped to 11-30.
