Plus, I'm sure the team isn't done with signings. All we've added is a commitment of $9 million to two players. We can still add some small pieces.

Average? He had a 1.2 WAR with BR and a lower WAR with Fangraphs.

And Solano had a 0.3 on BR and 0.0 on Fangraphs.
    It's an upgrade. :p

That would have fared better than Jose Altuve or Aaron Hill last year...

I've been advocating for Michael Young for the past couple days to play 3rd.
Really, right now, this lineup projection is a RIGHT NOW deal. As in, Opening Day is tomorrow, this is the lineup we'd put out there. I think if we could bring on Michael Young and let Dietrich season a little more in the minors, this lineup would be better than what is the current, or "right now" lineup.

    LF Yelich
    3B Young
    RF Stanton
    1B Morrison
    CF Ozuna
    C Salty
    2B Furcal
    SS Hechavarria

I'm not sure what you're saying here but OK.

    Those are "All-Star" second basemen.

Hill was an all-star once in an inflated year, I wouldn't put him up there.

Dude OPS'd .818 last year... Furcal is not just an offensive asset, clearly.

Altuve is a bad player. Furcal is a bad player. What do you not understand??

Edit: Scratch Hill. He's a better player than I thought. His WAR came at 34 less games, though.

    No they aren't.

Well Hill isn't a bad player, but Altuve is arguably a slightly better version of Hechavarria and Furcal is 36 and forced to sign with a bottom feeder team for an incentive laden, one year deal.

Yea, I underestimated Hill. But Furcal and Altuve are bad. I don't want bad baseball players starting here.

As I said before, at least we get to watch Hech and Furcal turn two. That will be fun.

If you mean hit into double plays, then yes.

So average that lineup is but I'm kind of happy with the low expectations. Only way to go is up.

Kinda feel the same way. 2012 was awful because we had high expectations. We know not to expect anything next season at least.
