Wild Card agreeing with you is not evidence that you've said anything that makes sense.
Whatever Dude. I make a lot of sense. Being that I live in St. Petersburg, I don't get attached to the Marlins' players the way that you guys in Miami do. Thinking Morrison was going to net a good return was kind of funny. They wound up doing the best they could under the circumstances. I have heard great things on this site about guys like Dietrich, Ruggiano and Lucas......which really makes me laugh. The Marlins have a pitching staff that has a lot of potential along with Stanton, Yelich and possibly Ozuna. I also like the additions of Salty, Jones and Furcal......but they still have a lot of work to do if they even want to catch the Mets.
Capps has a lot of potential but I thought we might get more than a straight 1 for 1.
Gotta get that ERA down. This should definitely not signal a trade of Cishek. I hope you guys appreciate how lock down Cishek was last year which we havent had since Benitez.
Say what? What about Heath B ... Leo Nu ... Kevin G ... Joe Boro ... Todd Jones?
To be fair I once agreed with Wild Card.
I agree with you. I wouldn't trade Cishek. Like I was saying during the season, nothing hurts a young team more than blowing a game in the 9th inning.
Most people agree with me more often than they'd like to admit.
I don't think I've agreed with anything you've said since you started posting on here recently.
If everyone thought the same way, the world would be a boring place.
Good god he's right. O_O
Good Luck with Seattle LoMo! Best of Luck of in the future.
I'll still be wearing my red orange Lomo Marlins tee shirt, it'll enjoy the same afterlife my Uggla and A.Miller tee shirts have.
I'll never accept the trade of Lomo for a relief pitcher prospect, even if highly rated, but what's done is done. Not surprised at all, just very disappointed. Hope Jones can reproduce his 2012 season for us, its in him to do that. Hate the talk of trading Cishek, much too valuable for us in locking down the 9th free of anxiety, no way should that happen.
I think everyone appreciates Cishek, but we're also aware that he might get us a good infielder if he's ever traded. Our infield is pretty bad, especially long-term.
Holy crap, I'm back. Perfect timing too, LoMo is gone.
I read that his fastball averages out at 99 MPH. I also read that his tall frame makes it hard for right-handers to see the ball as it's released. Sounds like he'll have a nice roll as righty specialist.
I know I hate on lomo here but yeah it will be different seeing him on another team but to face facts the marlins rewarded him in a sense. At least he's with cano and a team that everyone will keep an eye out on. Good luck.
I almost teared up reading this. Met him a couple times and despite his somewhat cocky, arrogant attitude he truly was a nice person. Always welcoming to approaching fans. I'm gonna miss him and wish him the best.
Biggest fear about Capps is he becomes Ryan Tucker 2.0 for us. Seems like a one pitch guy. Great that he throws hard but the risk is definitely there.
