And Cain Velasquez is the first Mexican Heavyweight Champion in history (Boxing or MMA). Velasquez dominated the first round, Brock was rocked. He was tired. He was bloody, and after a while, Brock just looked like he couldn't defend himself anymore, and referee Herb Dean stepped in. Brock looked overmatched.

    Next for both fighters

Velasquez: Dos Santos to defend his title

Lesnar: Mir for the 3rd time.

WEC is merging into the UFC. Winner of Henderson vs Pettis at WEC 53 (?) will fight the winner of Maynard vs Edgar for the unified UFC Lightweight belt. Also, Jose Aldo will be defending his "UFC" Featherweight belt at UFC 125 to co-headline the Maynard/Edgar fight.

    Sounds awesome.

Jon Jones just did the most awesome thing before his fight tonight.

He was doing his usual ritual, meditating at a park in New Jersey, when he heard a woman scream she was being robbed. He then knocked the guys legs from out under him, and put him in a figure four leg log before the cops arrived.

So basically, the fight before the fight.

Jon Jones just dominated Shogun. I mean absolutely dominated. It's hard to see anybody beating him anytime soon. He made a champ look like an amateur.

His next fight is against Rashad Evans, a friend who he said he would never fight. Hell of a fight, and we just saw the dawn of the Jon Jones era.

Jones Jones is the MMA what Mike Tyson was to boxing, I'm 100% serious.

Anyone think that if GSP dominates Shields like he has done to everyone else in the Welterweight Division that Dana will actually make him move up to fight Anderson Silva?

If so, how would you see that fight turning out?
