mystikol87
Dolphins only get 1 prime time game......at Buffalo. For anyone that is still delusional about how good the Dolphins will be I guess the NFL agrees with many of us....THEY WILL STINK. 4 or 5 win season - maybe 7 or 8 if they get lucky. I agree they absolutely SUCK, but I wouldn't be surprised if they got "lucky" & won 7-8 games considering the Jets/Bills are also pretty bad. I'd say the Patriots have a 99.9% chance of making the playoffs this season. The Jets and Bills are pretty bad? The Jets went to 2 AFC title games and then went 8-8. Do they seem like a great team right now? Probably not. But not "pretty bad." And the Bills got Mario WIlliams and some other good additions, so I wouldn't write them off as pretty bad yet, either. Anonymous
I saw 7-9 looking at the schedule. I could see 10-6 happening If a few breaks go our away or a few players exceed our expectations.

Marlins
With the first pick of the 2012 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts select... ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Colts have informed Stanford QB Andrew Luck that he'll be the No. 1 pick in the draft. The Colts tried to work out Robert Griffin before the draft, but he politely declined and is headed to the Redskins after a blockbuster trade up with the Rams. "(Luck) is the first pick in any draft I have been a part of," one 20-year veteran NFL scout told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "He might have been picked ahead of (Peyton) Manning. He's not a (John) Elway arm. Neither was Manning. If you were just taking him and Peyton out of college they have very similar characteristics and careers. Luck would have been faster and stronger than Peyton."

You said that last year...and we lost our top receiver this year. (EDIT: You actually said playoffs last year when I was on the Suck for Luck bandwagon from seasons start) Likely record: 6-10 If everything goes right: 9-7 If everything goes wrong: 1-
Anonymous
I didnt say playoffs last year. Last season I said 7-9 or 8-8. You claiming SFL was stupid then and it's stupid now. I don't know why you brought up us losing Brandon Marshall to counter my prediction, then turn around and make almost the same prediction. What's the difference between 6-10 and 7-9? Pretty funny that he projected just 1 game difference. This made me lol.
Anonymous
I think I am warming up to Russel Wilson. The more I watch and read about him, the more I like. I like him way more than Osweiler.
Fish
NEW ORLEANS -- The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Louisiana was told Friday that New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis had an electronic device in his Superdome suite that had been secretly re-wired to enable him to eavesdrop on visiting coaching staffs for nearly three NFL seasons, "Outside the Lines" has learned. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/7846290/new-orleans-saints-mickey-loomis-eavesdrop-opposing-coaches-home-games Uh oh..looks like more trouble for the Saints... Marlins
Dolphins' #1 WR...torn ACL & MCL. Dolphins WR Davone Bess revealed Tuesday that he suffered a partially torn ACL in addition to a torn MCL in the 2011 season finale. We knew about the MCL, but this is the first leak on the ACL. Bess spent the early offseason rehabbing in Florida. The good news is that he was able to participate in Tuesday's minicamp practice, so he should be full-go by training camp. Bess is the favorite to lead the team in receptions following Brandon Marshall's exit.
Marlins
Looks like Steven Jackson may be on the block... The St. Louis Post-Dispatch disputes reports that Steven Jackson is dissatisfied with his contract and could be traded or released. Team officials are unaware of any contract request by Jackson, who was reportedly "taken aback" by reports that he could be released or dealt if the Rams drafted Trent Richardson. Due to earn $7 million in each of the next two seasons, S-Jax is content with his contract, but would also be open to an extension to finish his career in St. Louis. The Rams would only trade up for Richardson if the cost in draft picks is lower than expected. Even then, they would likely keep both backs on the roster, as salary cap space is not an issue. EricWiener
The Dolphins address remains 7997 Mediocre Blvd. They should have won 8 last year, I see 8 this year.
dim
Bess will play the first game next season though. Still, we suck.
Anonymous
I would like to see the Dolphins come away from this draft with two receivers and a Tight End. I'm not as upset as some about Bess and Hartline as our top receivers because I don't think the offense will run the way some think it will. StantonisKing
Really hope Tannehill falls to the Dolphins at 8 and they take him. Sit him behind Moore for a year, let him learn what it takes to play in the NFL and then see what he has once the 2013 season rolls around. Also, I'm hoping Clyde Gates sees alot more playing time this year.

EricWiener
I would go Wide Receiver, Tight End, Linebacker and then start looking for hidden gems at QB late.
Anonymous
I think it would be a mistake for the Buce to do that. I want to throw this out there. I think the Jets go with Courtney Upshaw. The Bills go Luke Kuechly IF he's available. There are rumors the Buccaneers might pick him.
Marlins
Think the Browns got played... The Browns acquired the No. 3 pick in the draft from the Vikings in exchange for four draft picks, including the No. 4 overall. The Vikings will also receive the Browns' fourth-, fifth-, and seventh-round picks. Well played by Vikes GM Rick Spielman, who must have sold the Browns on the benefits of moving up. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Cleveland felt "a little panicked." Although one team tells SI's Peter King that the trade "might be" for Justin Blackmon, Schefter, Jay Glazer, Chris Mortensen and Charley Casserly all report that the Browns' target is Trent Richardson. There was concern that the Bucs would leapfrog them for the Alabama star.
Marlins
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Vikings are open to trading down further after falling to the No. 4 pick. One potential trade partner is Jacksonville, as new owner Shad Kahn has his sights set on Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon. Adam Schefter confirms the Jags are "pushing for a deal," though they are reluctant to overpay.
Fish
The Browns really overpaid to move up one spot but it's the Browns so I'm not really surprised.
