10 Game Opening Night Plan Available

Well, here's the catch with this plan. The 10-game price for Vista Box (the only reasonably priced section) is $25 per ticket; the 20-game price is only $15 per ticket! You can purchase ten more games for just a LITTLE more money. ALSO BE AWARE: 10-game plans DO NOT get to purchase parking passes in the garage! You will have to upgrade to a 20-game plan in order to purchase parking.

I went in to the sales office today to try and make a purchase in person, and we had concluded a deal on the belief that parking was going to be available. An hour after completing the purchase, got a call from my rep it's not available and they voided my order. Guess I'll pick and choose my games on stubhub this year.

That should be fine for games outside of April 4th but the mark-up you'll pay for Opening Night on Stubhub may come close to the price of the 10 game plan itself.

Correct, which is why I'll probably watch Opening Night from my couch and listen to all the nice things ESPN has to say about us! I've been to more Opening Day's than I can count, and I'll get my experience of the ballpark against UM before the season. I already have great seats to the Cubs series, too. Plus, buying on Stubhub I'll be able to sit all over the ballpark all year long and experience every section, where with the plan I'm stuck up in the Vista Box for 10 games...

I know I am wondering if I should sell my opening night game tickets. I may be able to recoop at least half or more of the 10 game plan purchase price just for that game.

I think ESPN will be blacked out in So Fla. We'll be watching Tommy and Rich I believe. That's the way it was for the 1st game in history. In order to see ESPN's coverage of that game I had to have a cousin in Jacksonville VCR the game and mail it to me. We watched Jay Randolph and Gary Carter on local coverage (I think it was Carter, does anyone remember ?).

If you have MLB.TV you can go back and watch the ESPN version of the game after it is archived.

At least this is the way it has worked in the past.

Why would you use Stubhub over just ordering directly from Marlins.com?

I've bought tickets to five games and paid about half of what the Marlins are asking for seats, PLUS I got to pick the exact section, row, and seat I want to sit in. I bought my parking passes directly from the Marlins, but that's it.
