Entendu
Scott McGough, RP: 2.0 IP, 3 H, 3 R (3 ER), 1 BB, 1 K DeSclafani is also been getting roughed up after his promotion. At this point, I'm chalking it up to adjustments not yet made.
Michael
And my friend wonders why there's so many levels of minor league ball ... :|

nekromantique
So...what's the word on Romero? Have they settled on him playing 2B full time?
Michael
.370 for Romero in 36 games, nice. .970 OPS, too. Decent BB/K rate thus far, guess we'll see what happens. Short-Season A- ball, so let's keep him on the back-burner for now.
nekromantique
I mean where he is playing. IIRC they couldn't determine whether he should be 2B, 3B or SS

Hotcorner
The Suns got back-to-back-to-back homers from Dietrich-Canha-Cox tonight.
dim
That was Cox's second home run in 194 at bats in Jacksonville. Still, he gets on base enough that I want to see him get a chance to start at 3B in September.
nekromantique
Nicolino got shelled. Him and desclafani will almost certainly start next season in AA again, and possibly spend a slight bit of time in AAA. Heaney seems more likely to be promoted directly from AA... whenever he makes it there.
