Admin
FOX Sports Florida, the statewide television home of the Miami Marlins, today announced Carl Pavano has joined its roster of Marlins on-air talent for the 2014 season. Pavano will serve as an analyst on select Marlins LIVE pre- and postgame shows throughout the season in his new role. A 14-year Major League Baseball veteran and 2003 World Series Champion with the Marlins, Pavano will provide in-depth pitching analysis from the FOX Sports studio for select Marlins away games, as well as Marlins Park for select home games. Pavano is scheduled to make his on-air debut on Tuesday, April 15th as a second analyst, alongside Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton, when the Marlins host the Washington Nationals. Coverage begins live from Marlins Park at 6:30 p.m. statewide on FOX Sports Florida. A Southington, Connecticut native, the 2004 MLB All-Star racked up over 1,000 strike outs through the course of his career, which included stints with the Montreal Expos, New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins, Cleveland Indians and the Marlins. Jokersgoon
I wonder if they're doing this to find the replacement for Tommy.
Admin
I wonder if they're doing this to find the replacement for Tommy. I hope they aren't grooming Preston Wilson for that role. I'd rather have Rob Dibble do the analysis over Preston.

SongInTheAir
I hope they aren't grooming Preston Wilson for that role. I'd rather have Rob Dibble do the analysis over Preston. I'd rather there be dead air than have to listen to Preston. Rich can stare off into nothingness and it'll be more valuable airtime.
yokofox33
I'd rather have Allison Williams in front of the camera. All. Day. Mmmmmmmmmmm
DcFishFan
And in a related story, Pavano is still making a bazillion dollars this year from the Yankees.
Lakeshow00
I wonder if Pavano could be this teams 5th starter and do the broadcasting on his off days
DcFishFan
He could take over any position in the infield too, and we wouldn't see a big difference.

FloridaMarlinsForever
He was decent. Much better than you know who. abit shy of da camera and mic, but hey who wouldn't be for the first time? And as far as da other guy, is it true that when he was with the Rockies everyone hated him because he was preaching to all the team mates on how to live a holy life or something?
