Man...I just don't know how Heaney bombed in his first major league stint so bad. He's not any less of a prospect, but he felt like a player who was ready to be here for the long haul. Just incredibly disappointing, especially since I didn't think he had much more to learn down in the minors.

This fucking team. I understand Heaney didn't do well and I'm fine with his demotion, but we seriously do not need Solano on this team. Marisnick, at least, plays a smart defense. Guh ... whatever.

Only if they pick up 99.9% of his contract and we part with a bag of batting practice balls for him!
Heaney needs to go down for that minor league seasoning, he appears to be plagued by the big inning, get that fixed and get him back up in September

Batting practice balls are too much- send them Solano.

Kind of upsetting to see them give up on Heaney so quickly… Hope this doesn't destroy his confidence

I'm not disappionted on him. Just need some adjusting time.

'Cause he didn't forget the taste of major league mound, he will comeback sooner or later, I think.

Well, think about this. What would hurt his confidence more:

    1) Continuing to struggle in the Major Leagues
    2) Being demoted and having a renewed chance at success in AAA

I'm going to say the first one. If he continues to struggle in the Majors, doubt sets in, and grows and grows and grows, and in his mind he just says, "I can't do this." Goes down to AAA, is successful, comes back up, "I can't do this, you saw what happened last time."

Well Heany appears to be more of a finesse pitcher who has to get by on impeccable location.

Not every pitcher comes up from the minors and is an immediate success like Jose. I'm not concerned.

I am not going to lie, today was the first time I had actually got to see him live. Was kind of surprised he had such a slow delivery to the plate.

There is no denying that he is a bit underwhelming for a top prospect.

He made 4 big league starts.

Halladay looked a bit underwhelming in 2000, he turned out fine.
