    hey guys good news for Capps I guess:

    Carter Capps (elbow) is expected to resume a throwing program in the next few days.
    Capps has been shut down since late May with a right elbow sprain. He obviously has a long ways to go but could rejoin the Marlins' bullpen next month sometime if he's able to progress without setbacks. Jul 4 - 11:11 AM

    Oh lawd!

    You can't lose hope when it's hopeless. You gotta hope more, then put your fingers in your ears and go, "Blah! Blah! Blah! Blah!... "

    This is the deal, Gregg blew about 20% (WAA) of the saves with the Marlins the first time and then did the same with other teams. Why are they expecting success?

    WAA= wild ass approximation

    Heaney pitched in AAA tonight. Threw 72 pitches and didn't make it through the 3rd inning.

    I think his confidence is a bit shaken. He'll figure it out. Might be the first time he's really struggled and he needs to figure out how to get through it.

    He didn't seem to be doing bad after the first two innings. That third inning just gave him hell.

    I wouldn't be shocked if his confidence is out of whack. I mean he was mowing down hitters at every level in the minors, it's not crazy to think he was as surprised as we were at the struggles he faced in the majors. Heaney needs the rest of the year in the minors and hopefully he gets his stuff together in time for 2015.
