Michael
Are they moving him to play first base?
SongInTheAir
Hey songintheair, did you write an article about this? No Actually, just kidding, yes: http://therunnersports.com/2014/12/01/seattle-mariners-sign-dh-nelson-cruz-four-year-contract/
Bret Hart
Are they moving him to play first base? Maybe Not. Cruz would take DH role only.

SongInTheAir
Since Cruz plays half of what real baseball players play, can we assume that someone with his offensive numbers who was able to actually stop a baseball within 6 inches of him would have made $114 million over 4 years? Related: anyone want to guess my stance on the DH?

Related: anyone want to guess my stance on the DH? You love the DH, obviously, and you feel that it should be integrated by National League clubs. Your thought process is that the National League could use more runs being scored along with less strategy, and it would give teams of the National League a better chance at signing high profile free agents long term due to them being able to DH as they get older. In your mind, the designated hitter is the greatest thing to happen in baseball history. You, sir, wish death upon the idea of pitchers taking at bats away from more qualified hitters. Also, no, probably 4/70.
