Diasan
I was thinking maybe we could trade for Ethier who apparently will not get with the Dodgers the everyday playing time he wants. He can play 1B, plays all three outfield positions and isn't a clubhouse cancer. The Dodgers would maybe eat a considerable amount of the money he's owed and we'll be getting him for not much than we offered LaRoche, who is also older than Ethier. What will be the Dodgers want from us to get it done? The Dodgers seem to also have a crowded infield. Will it take our farm to get both Ethier and Dee Gordon? Dreaming? Thoughts? SilverBullet
I like how our criteria for acquiring someone has dwindled down to just "can play first base and isn't cancerous".
knglover
I wouldn't mind it if they eat a lot of cash too.
Wild Card
I doubt Ethier is the one they move.
Fish Fan10
If you like big contract, slap hitters past their prime...Than sure we should trade for him.

Piazza31
Well the marlins certainly love the slap hitter part We should sign Raymell Mourice Rice, he's a pure hitter who packs a punch. Would be the perfect slugger to in our lineup behind DongCarlo. Can't believe Baltimore let him hit free agency.
