Entendu
I fucking hope they don't trade Eovaldi away in any of this. Seriously, it'd be so short-sighted. Trade away pieces from the farm system, but not Eovaldi.

CYmarlins
Snagged this list of SPs who will be FAs after 2015... Clay Buchholz (31) – $13MM club option with a $245K buyout Trevor Cahill (28) – $13MM club option with a $300K buyout Jhoulys Chacin (28) Wei-Yin Chen (30) Bartolo Colon (43) Johnny Cueto (30) Ross Detwiler (30) Marco Estrada (32) Doug Fister (32) Yovani Gallardo (30) Jaime Garcia (29) – $11.5MM club option with a $500K buyout Zack Greinke (32) – can opt out of remaining three years/$71MM Jeremy Guthrie (37) – $10MM mutual option with a $3.2MM buyout J.A. I don;t see Nats trading to us at all, even then it would be highway robbery if they did.
Wild Card
Reds make the most sense, Cueto or Latos. My question is, why would they deal for a pitcher before they know what Haren is going to do? Seems kinda stupid. If Haren's in for next year, which would be just fine, there's zero need for another starter and every need for a 1B. Today's gonna be even crazier than yesterday... CYmarlins
we're not getting cueto You're killing me smalls! No, actually Frisario is he had us thinking Morneau was pretty much a done deal. What a douche.

Still is a chance Haren pitches for us, but the glaring need is 1B right now as well. Marlins don't wanna go into season with Jones as their 1B. Don' think any of us do. Entendu
My guess, yes If they trade Eovaldi for Latos, I'm going to be furious. Cueto is easier to digest

CYmarlins
Because they're going to probably deal Eovaldi in this Yes he is. He's a good player to have, especially under club control Eovaldi is alright, his future might be better suited in the bullpen. But who else do they trade? Conley and Desclafani? fish14
Yes he is. He's a good player to have, especially under club control He's a good player to have under club control if he improves which is a total question mark. IF he is who he has been since he got here he is nothing special

Alvarez Cosart Eovaldi Haren Rotating Door [probably Koehler] Cueto, please, even if Haren stays. That's quite the insult to Tom Koehler, who I'd rather have over Eovaldi TBH. He's very possibly the best fifth starter in baseball.

pollythewog
I'm okay with eo for latos assuming they will actually resign latos. A 1 year rental for a 2015 where we have a very slim chance to compete is absolutely stupid
