  1. Past hour
  2. because your GM traded him for an aging reliever at the deadline?
  3. Today
  4. Through 135 PA (40 games), this one guy hit .220/ .281/.390 with just 5 HR. With a .672 OPS, the Angels should have DFA'd Mike Trout before he got expensive, but now they're stuck with him. Oh well. The lesson is: If a prospect doesn't immediately look like an MVP in this first 10 to 40 games, time to move on.
  5. I thought the rule was that whenever the Marlins give up on a player, they excel in the location they end up in. I'm expecting Isan to win the MVP for the Gainesville Wallbangers.
  6. He's been a slow starter in new leagues so far in his career so he's pretty much on track. He'll get acclimated to it eventually. A lot of his offensive issues right now (or at least what i've seen" is him not being aggressive early in the count. he's almost TOO patient and gets himself into pitcher's counts too often.
  7. I know he's not ours anymore but this is a really nice read on how Nick Anderson has been so good... https://www.mlb.com/rays/news/this-was-the-best-reliever-traded-at-the-deadline
  8. Castano tonight for JAX, Lopez for NO. Hopefully Castano can continue his success and continue to establish himself as a rising pitching prospect for us. Hopefully Lopez kills it tonight and is back in the rotation by next week.
  9. If I claim him, can I start a team?
  10. May as well, nobody is going to claim him.
  11. Of course but it doesn't always work that way and, in some ways, having to overcome some early adversity is good for development too.
  12. Diaz wouldn't be enough for Rodney. It would take someone way better, like Gallen.
  13. To a top prospect that just coming to the majors, you hope he would figures things out ASAP.

  15. Bleday and Sixto are both busts waiting to happen anyway so they should.
  16. Not a good enough prospect. We should trade Bleday AND Sixto for Rodney.
  17. Trade him for Fernando Rodney
  18. For anyone who wants to send him down to the minors, ask yourself: Did it help Brinson? He has proven himself in the minors. He will either get it in the big leagues or he was never gonna succeed anyway.
  19. 100% just let him finish this season out with major League club. I don't even really evaluate what he's done so far, kinda just look at them as reps. I kind of expect him to go 0-3/4 every night. Let him learn.
