  1. I want 60! Last year we had 57, we need to see improvement!

  2. how so? These 60 games are going to be all about strategy. 6 man rotations, starters coming in as relievers, universal DH (more offense), expanded rosters (potential for young talent to step up), etc. Seems like it'll be very interesting to say the least.

  4. When's the last time we were tied for the division lead in late July? We should trade meyers for rodney and make a playoff push.

The players could have gotten a bigger portion of playoff revenue and more with expanded playoffs, but refused to OK the deal. Apparently they already get a portion of postseason gate revenue, but were looking to get a larger portion, so since a deal wasn't reached, all they'll get is their traditional portion of postseason gate revenue should there be fans. They're after the fact trying to get MLB to do expanded playoffs, which is laughable - should've just taken the deal. They are

  6. Yep - every game holds 2.7x the amount of weight it normally would. 33 wins = 89.1 in a normal 162. Let's go for 33.

  7. Remember, the shitty service time rules still apply, so if they're called up after 7 games, we get an extra year of club control for them all. So ...

  13. The Marlins won't have to change anything, they only had like 16 people in the stands at a game before corona.

  16. So 10 games each vs ATL, WSH, NYM, and PHI, and 4 games each vs NYY, BOS, BAL, TOR, TB... Marlins are fucked.

  17. I agree with this. A bone for the union. As for 2021 - fears of covid extending into that season.

  19. Anyone in our top 20 who were within 18 months of a debut. So - Sixto, Jazz, Bleday, Cabrera, Rogers, Jesus Sanchez, Lewin ... Max Meyer probably, Vesia ... dude, our bullpen could be insane if we bring up the starters to just relieve as a bit of a short term introduction to the League.
