David Samson posts about it and tries to make it seem like it came from Jeter, as if Jeter is asking for help to pay his employees... The campaign, which used the Marlins logo, was titled “Miami Marlins Player Development Staff” and organized by Danny M. Henriquez. “Please contribute to our player development staff who have been impacted by the unfortunate events of COVID-19,” he wrote. “All contributions will be greatly appreciated!” Henriquez

Lol yeah I’ve explained it before. My dad and grandpa were baseball fans for decades before miami had a team and their team was the Red Sox so I grew up watching them in addition to the marlins. But my first and deepest baseball love was and will always be the marlins lol

Great. Again, they're never done looking to upgrade. People gotta stop saying the roster is final. Even once the games and the season starts the roster is always open to upgrades. And if they thought they were getting Kintzler then it means they thought another reliever is needed so why would they not add one after Kintzler backed out? PLAYER PREDICTIONS 1. MVP: Miguel Rojas. I think the 2020 breakout on offense was real. He'll be a year older, yes, so the production might go down a bit, but his knee-slappin' defense and solid hitting will get him AT LEAST a Gold Glove this year. 2. BREAKOUT MARLIN: Isan Diaz. Mentioned this in the other thread. I'm boldly predicting 25 HR and positive DRS/UZR. 3. BEST UTILITY: Jazz Chisholm. I love Berti, but I'm going to guess Jazz forces himself into super utility playing time, knocks a few dingers in the process (maybe 15 HR in 400 PA?). 4. UNSUNG HERO: Chad Wallach.

So then I did some research to see if Lake McGee was a real place, and the closest I found was a place called McGee Lake in Nova Scotia and a College Football player on USC named Lake McRee. 😂
