  1. Flaherty vs PabLopez Not sure I'll be able to see this one given the time and I'll be at work but maybe! Let's start a 14 game win streak.

  2. No because we had 0 expectations. This is much worse.

  3. The Marlins have played 6 games against top tier contenders. To put that in perspective, that is 2 outs in the top of the first inning. Long way to go. Like I said before, wait until after the first homestand and first road trip is over before really judging the quality of the team. So we can come back to this next week on Friday. As for the impulsiveness you guys have shown, note that you guys got most of what you wanted. Coop and Jazz in the lineup. Alfaro out of it. Sure Dickerson was still leading off, but he got 2 hits. Wallach struck out 3 times. This lineup was the most simi

  8. While I wholeheartedly agree with the people who are down on the team for them using their “free pass” this year, if Dickersons fly ball is 20 feet to the left or right of where he hit it we win that game.

  18. The fact that they are hitting the ball hard and it is not falling tells me that it will even out. We have had some bad luck. Eventually some of their hits will stop falling. Think of the 6th yesterday. Sure, Alfaro fucked the pooch when we needed him the most, but we would not have been in that position if not for the perfectly placed groundballs that the Marlins could not field. And just look at that Jazz flyout. Eventually some of those will fall with runners on and the Marlins will score in those spots.

  19. Sir. You can't lambast the guy for being happy about a super small sample size of two innings when you yourself are basing your comment here off of an even smaller sample size. HE'S LITERALLY PITCHED SIX TIMES AS MANY INNINGS THIS YEAR.

  26. The combination of the Marlins playing plus Todd Hollandsworths endless droning and answering every question from Paul with “Well, you know..” Real snoozefest these past few games, actually all of the games so far except for their only win. Lets score some runs! 😂

  33. Make Alfaro the emergency catcher. See if Berti is willing to catch.

  34. Of course, Dick is leading off again, and Berti is starting, so Berti could just as easily be leading off, with Dickerson in the 7th spot. 😂 And does it feel like Chad Wallach is becoming Pablo Lopez personal catcher?

  35. Last night was pathetic. Loading the bases with no outs and not getting a run in, Lead off 2b in the 8th and you dont bunt him to 3rd. Awful.

  38. They need a better plan than “hit it to right field” cause the slugging is non existent and they can’t do anything with fastballs on the inside part of the plate cause they’re way behind on them. Rowson just wants to see them flip bloopers the other way like it’s 1976. And you can see that it’s affected BA more than anyone else cause he’s late on every fastball down the middle.

  41. The front office knew they had a pass this year...for no reason (in my opinion)...and they used it. The fan base signed off on it with defensiveness and even smiles about how finishing NEAR .500 would be a victory. They will make their money and even though they raised profits...it will not translate to us, the fan, at least not until next year. This is what that looks like. Losing heart-breakers and series. Imploding. Waiting around for a chance or some luck. This year will be forgotten because they will be better next year. And they WILL be better even if they actively do nothing t

  42. I don't think many people disagree that Mattingly's in game management is questionable at best. What he's great at is run a good clubhouse. Also, what he did with Rogers yesterday and put his arm around him and have a laugh with while reassuring him, that's what Mattingly brings that makes his players love him. I know those are intangibles but it worked last season and kept the teams spirits up during trying times. He just needs to let someone else manage on the field. LOL
