  3. Ha I had an idea for today’s game thread and was about to post it when my internet decided to not work.

  4. Having Harrison bunt with his speed is much more safe than him striking out. No runs through 9 and we are supposed to believe that Harrison is going to plate in a run? Anyway you look at it, other then the outcome justifies Don’s decision.

  5. Didn't know he was a chef these days.

  6. Hard to trust a guy who strikes out that much. Makes Stanton look like a contact hitter.

  10. I’m not sure if Holloway is an answer in the rotation but I’d like to see him tested as a high leverage reliever.

  11. I’m starting to believe in Holloway.

  12. 5/1 BALLY321 (didn’t see it on the scorebar, just guessed it was backwards since that’s what Bally has been doing)

  14. I wish I could find a soulmate in life who loves me as much as Don loves double switches.

  17. Donnie double-switched for basically a one inning appearance. Smart. lol

  18. Lol Isan Diaz has hit into the same double play twice in as many days. These Brewer guys are basically playing for the other team.

  19. If that happened, I guarantee the FO would say "thank you for your services."

  20. Can we activate BA mid-game?

  21. Yeah now he should double switch Harrison, and maybe they can both go back to Milwaukee after the game.

  22. Max Meyer is probably already better than the guys we’re throwing out there today.

  23. Lol, Cooper was like, "I could cut this off, but ... it'll be easier after it hits the wall."

  34. Even if Monte is "bad at baseball" he has a better chance of getting a hit by being allowed to swing than by being told to bunt. The problem is that Donnie gave him zero chance to get a hit there. The runner was already in scoring position, there was no reason to not at least give Monte a chance to swing. If he Ks then Devers is still in scoring position.

  35. I don't believe in Don so we're even.

  36. By the way, I’m obviously saying this because we lost tonight, but the extra inning rule stinks even if it makes me happier when we win.

  37. Pablo Lopez has a better chance of getting a hit. Monte struck out in 51% of his plate appearances last year, we need to start being realistic about him being bad at baseball.

  38. All the signs point to Lewis Brinson improving in Spring Training too. Every player we got back from the Brewers stink. We have no bench because we have 698 injuries. Half of our position players don’t belong in the big leagues so Don was probably hoping Yimi could do what he did in Atlanta with a 1-run lead. Our lineup is awful.

  39. Monte Harrison can’t hit. The lineup stinks, and Yimi blew it in the 10th. It is what it is.

  40. The Marlins have seemingly taken on the challenge of how many auto outs they can roll on a roster at once. lol

  41. I was hungover all day yesterday. Here are my notes.. I had a blast: My seats were effing awesome. Right behind brewers dugout. Looks like I was on TV at the beginning of the bottom of the 4th. I was legitimately the only Marlin fan I saw there the whole time. Was rocking my teal Hawk jersey Jesus Aguilar is so much fun. Talks to fans, umps, dugouts, coaches, the entiiiiire game. He is such a character. Love that guy and LOVE that he hit the big HR in the game Fans were piiiiiiiiiiissed the whole game especially after that interference call. I made sure to chime in at a v

  44. Nope, none of us will be happy until Bleday is in center and Max Meyer is pitching. So sometime in July of ‘22 is our next scheduled moment of happiness.

  48. I think Brinson has a better chance to succeed at the MLB level than Isan. Isan is a "power hitting" second baseman who can't get the ball out of the infield. At least with Brinson, you clearly see the effort he puts into every play he makes. Isan looks like he doesn't even like baseball sometimes.
