Gaby is the man for that! :notworthy

RIP George Steinbrenner - one of the greatest owners for sure

I thought the series was pretty good, and I am also glad the Lakers won. I'm not so much pleased with the outcome as I would have been displeased with the alternative. I hate Boston fans.
-
But if you got 20 group tix and sold some of them, wouldn't whoever you sold them to end up sitting with you? I'm not sure how it works down at Joe Robbie considering I live in VA.
-
Maybe some of them have a cool friend they could bring? Any of-age cousins you could bring along?
-
Just caught this on an ESPN gamebreak. I totally support taking him out. Good job, Fredi.

Seems like we had a pretty good game today - I actually got to catch the end. :thumbup

Happy birthday to two cool fellas!

I don't know what being Hispanic has to do with it, but..
I'm not going to say that I didn't drink any beer when I was a teenager, but I will say this - be careful, man. At your age, you haven't been exposed to anything that is as habit forming as booze. You need to make sure you drink safely. Never drive after drinking, and don't ride with people who have, either. Call your folks if you need a ride and tell them the truth. They will be grateful you did so, instead of the alternative. I was raised by very strict parents and even they told me that if I've ever been drinking, CALL THEM for a ride instead of doing something stupid, and they won't give me a hard time.
Also, coming from a family with alcoholism issues, if you ever feel like drinking is becoming a habit, or something you have to do to have fun, stop, period. Regroup mentally, collect your thoughts, and give yourself an honest evaluation of what's going on in your life. If your family has ever had alcohol issues, tread very carefully.
I don't mean to lecture, but I have ten years on you, and I've seen too many things happen that could have been prevented. No matter what happens, just use your head.
Because it's a stereo type here in Weston that all Hispanics drink alot.
I barely drink and I really don't enjoy it either, I see no point to it as I have a bright future ahead of me in baseball and I don't need something stupid like alcohol to mess that up for me. Honestly I've only drank about 5 or 6 times and most of those times were a bottle or two with family at family parties. The one true time I got drunk with friends I knew there was no way we could handle driving or even riding bikes so I called my dad and he took us all home safely. He was glad I called him to and didn't even get mad about the drinking.
I appreciate for you looking out for me because my dad did infact have drinking issues when he was growing up and then after I was born he began drinking again but he's more controlled now.
I completely understand why you would lecture because you're more experienced then I am and drinking causes many problems that I don't want to have and I don't need to have.
Who cares about stereotypes? Be a self-made man.
Besides that, good post. Glad to hear that about your dad.

Ugh. That orange beyotch came to JMU a month or so ago. Apparently she is relevant enough to be an "event."

Are you serious? You're a little young for that.
I'm a Hispanic living in Weston all these kids do is drink and party.
I've only player 3 times truthfully and one time was with family and I've never played with anything hard just Miller Lite.

I'm glad I didn't go to any of this series. They always lose when I am there. Not that it would change anything.

That sucks. I miss that cat.

Hotness! It's on tv here. Let's win this thing!

A man was riding his Harley along a California beach when suddenly the
sky cleared above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, 'Because
you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one
wish.'
The biker pulled over and said, 'Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride
over anytime I want.'
The Lord said, 'Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous
challenges for that kind of undertaking; the supports required reaching
the bottom of the Pacific and the concrete and steel it would take! It
will nearly exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is
hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little
more time and think of something that could possibly help mankind.'
The biker thought about it for a long time. Finally, he said, 'Lord, I
wish that I and all men could understand women; I want to know how she
feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent
treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing's wrong, why she snaps and complains when I try to help, and how I can make a woman truly happy.'
The Lord replied, 'You want two lanes or four lanes on that bridge?'

Was that Whoopi Goldberg at the end?
Nah man, it was Coolio.

Every jackass who chanted that should report to the Gulf for cleanup duty.
Everyone who opposes drilling for oil but uses oil-related products deserves a kick in the nuts.
I oppose drilling HERE. It would serve only as a bandaid on a gunshot wound. The US needs to stop being lazy and start getting innovative again.

I think you are worrying a bit much. In any case, welcome to MB.com!
Thank You.
thinking about the Expos and the memories makes me wanna cry.
They are now our home team here in VA, which makes me happy. It means I see fewer Braves hats (vomit) and it gives me some one else to root for who is actually on TV up here, besides the effin' Red Sox.

I'd love to see an NL West team win it all - I am definitely pulling for the Giants!
