Any truth to the rumor that was circulating on local Miami radio stations that Jennings was 2 hours late to the ballpark recently ? Using the excuse he thought the game was at 7 pm and not 12 pm...

but we seem to be in this postion just about every year. It begs the question of how many times can fans be expected to put up with Loria's annual shitstain of a team ? Even the beat writers that cover the team can't hold it back anymore .

I think it shows what the real perception is around baseball to Loria and this organization. REAL free agents,the ones that make a real difference will never take Loria seriously, the kind of free agents that are in their prime. We're fucked as an organization until Loria sells.

Which again is on Loria. Why does he still stick with Hill/Jennings ? They haven't proven to be able to put a winning team on the field, and if it is money, and Loria won't allocate the money into scouting and development, then again its all on Loria. Admin he is the worst owner in sports and it's just time to admit it and be honest.

I know you will come back with he won a World Series, but since then what has he done ? His wallet ALWAYS seems to come 1st, and when you think like that, you are not thinking of winning 1st. He sounds like Joe Philbin and his "congrats" to the other team after games. I swear Don Shula would never congratulate an opponent after a loss, he didn't diss them but never went out of his way to congrat them either. This is the sign of weak men, IMO

Smart man..... So Admin, what you have been hinting at, is that Loria is going to go out and pay for an "Ozzie" type manager for next season. Brilliant....paying money to a manager (which we agree is worth maybe a handful extra wins a year), and maybe OVERPAYING him, because he has a name (which Loria loves), instead of using that money more wisely by bolstering the roster on the field. Wow, that's good ownership for you :rolleyes
