First time in 8 years not going to Opening Day? So that means you've been to every Opening Day since 2010 right? If you were there for other bad ones like Opening Day 2013 and 2014 why wouldn't you go to Opening Day 2018?

Not you specifically but I'm amazed how many people wanna bail out now when we've gone through this before and pretty much in worse conditions every other time. It's not like we had ten straight playoff contending seasons and now we're suddenly gonna suck.

 

News flash: We've sucked for a looooonnnnnggggg time now.

 

I'm furious that we might go through another fire sale but I haven't once thought about not watching anymore. Loria is gone and you'd imagine the Sherman-Jeter era can only go upward from where we are now... so why give up?

i wait for this day when loria can leave,, long long long time,, if jeter is next loria and does same,,,no more chance, no more gmes,

if jeter keep team i keep going, i said before,,,

They should make a statue of him sitting in his seat and install it there permanently as if he's creepily watching the games at all times. It'll look even funnier when there's no game going on and the statue is still there.

Loria gone for openning day,,

Being a hall of fame level player on the field doesn't automatically translate to being able to run a team. He might be horrible at it. 

 

maybe but maybe he can be good,, we not know until he goes

not easy to make team as good as is now, but jeter is hof and all start he can do it,,
