  1. It’s his full time job. He gets paid in Thumbs up, Laughing emojis and occasional bananas.

    Luke

I am rooting for the Blue Jays, because of Dickerson and Cimber.
  3. I just looked it up and yes the Tigers reportedly offered Granderson and Verlander for Willis after the ‘05 season when Dontrelle won 22 games. Most likely Loria/Samson/Beinfest were hoping that Dontrelle would continue with some more 20 win seasons in the next few years, and at that time Granderson and Verlander were still young and inexperienced players so I can understand why they didn’t make that trade. But imagine how much more fun that ‘06 season would have been with Granderson in CF instead of Reggie Abercrombie and a starting rotation of Josh Johnson, Ricky Nolasco, Anibal Sanchez, Justin Verlander(who ended up going 17-9 for the Tigers in ‘06) and Scott Olsen/Brian Moehler. 😂😂😂😂😂 Not that it means the Marlins would have necessarily won a lot of more games that year if they had made that trade. And knowing the Marlins, probably Granderson and Verlander would have been traded away in 2-3 years anyways. But it’s still fun to think about it. 😂
  4. Absolutely. That’s the first one that will always come to mind when you mention worst trade in Marlins history. Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis for Camron Maybin, Andrew Miller, Mike Rabelo?, Eulogio de la Cruz?, Dallas Trahern?, and Burke Badenhop. I can understand Willis, even though he was a big fan favorite, he had struggled the previous two seasons since coming off his 22 win season in ‘05. But with trading Cabrera and Willis, I was really expecting at least Curtis Granderson (Who batted .302 with 23 HR and led the majors with 23 triples that previous season in ‘07). I was so disappointed reading the news of that trade and seeing the players the Marlins got in return. And years later all I remember from those players is Andrew Miller not being a good pitcher while he was here, Cameron Maybin never living up to his potential and Burke Badenhop had a funny name. I don’t even remember the other players at all. The best trade for me was when the Marlins traded for Jeff Conine on August 31, 2003. Since it was past the trading deadline it was very unexpected and last minute, but it definitely made an impact having Mr Marlin back and the Marlins went on to win their second World Series. 😂
  5. I have to hand it to you. If there was anyone who appreciate that post, I knew it would be you. Actually, I tried to add as many hand puns in that post as I could think of at the time, and no one cared about my four minutes of effort to write that, except for @SilverBullet. 😂

    Turkey

I like ground turkey. It’s pretty versatile in the sense that you can use it exactly as you would ground beef. It doesn’t taste as good of course, but for people who for whatever reason, are trying not to eat too much red meat, it can be useful, like for turkey meatballs or burgers. 😂
  7. I hope he’ll get a handle on what’s bugging him pitching wise. Maybe the Marlins would resign him. Of course, he would have to earn it, I don’t think the Marlins will be giving any handouts the rest of this season. But I’m not sure if he’ll try to make it back to another team this year or if he’ll take a hands off approach and work hard in the offseason to come back strong next year.
  8. What’s up with this game thread? Hahahahaha, well I can’t criticize too much, I have hardly posted on this forum in the past couple of months, but seriously, a game thread with 4 posts? What’s going on here? 😂

  10. Breakfast foods are my absolute favorite at any time of the day, I was so disappointed when McDonalds removed their all day breakfast. 😂 But from Denny’s I like all the classic breakfast foods, minus pancakes. Scrambled eggs, buttered toast, hash browns, bacon, breakfast sausage, and wash it down with a fresh cup of coffee. I’ll eat that for breakfast, lunch or dinner. 😂
  11. I’ve never been a big fan of soups, so probably I would choose the salad by default. Only exception would be a great Sopa Azteca. I would eat that every day if I could. 😂
  12. No the Arizona Summer League ceased operations in 2013, but she could have filmed that in Nevada.
  13. Called it, at the beginning of the season.
  14. Well, the Brady house has enough space for at least 9 people if you include Alice, and as far as I know it’s in Southern California, so I guess it’s for when the Nats are playing on the road vs the Dodgers or LAA. The starting lineup can stay there.
