Here’s an idea: ”The History of Marlinsbaseball.com: A 3 part series.” Where you discuss the fascinating history of this website that we all spend a little bit too much time on. Which has been apparently around since 1993 according to the bottom of the page. You could post screenshots from the way back machine showing the different variations and designs of the site from over the years. You can talk about who Larry is/was and who @SonOfJack was.. how SilverBullet and Michael and Das became Mods and also about your future hopes and dreams for this site i.e. making @hovertical a mod and firing Michael for telling me to stfu. Actually that’s my future hope and dream. Nevermind.

Keep him healthy. On the other hand.. he was asked about demoting Meyer and he responded that he doesn’t have the best answer to keep him healthy? As was discussed earlier on this thread.. how does sending him to AAA have any relation to keeping him healthy? Seems like the MLB club might have better pitching coach and trainers.. but who knows? You dreamt of him because he last pitched in the majors in 2021 for the Rays and if there was ever a team that would sign a 37 year old former Ray that hasn’t pitched since 2021 it would be the Marlins led by Peter Bendix. So perhaps because you have talked about in the past how Bendix will sign any former Rays player you created a subconscious note and your subconscious mind while you were sleeping brought up a random former Rays player. It’s said that dreams are your brain’s way of resolving subconscious conflicts. And you are too caught up and worried about trivial things like Peter Bendix signing older former Rays players and your dream was the result of that. Unless you made the whole story up for views. Than forget it.

Yep… sad thing is us real Marlins fan keep coming back year after year and cycle after cycle hoping for a different result. I saw the writing on the wall years ago.. so basically became a casual fan since maybe 2012.. prior to that I was a seriously obsessed Marlins fan.. so that’s why even though I consider myself a Marlins fan now.. I couldn’t name 4 players in AA to save me.. I just stopped caring after viewing things through an objective lens even back then I saw the same cycle repeat itself so many times over the years.. and I had a feeling that the same cycle would keep repeating itself regardless of who the GM is.. and now 12 years later it’s shown that my thoughts were right. Tonight’s attendance was around 8,500.. for an MLB game. Ridiculous. We’ve all talked about this.. so it’s just preaching to the choir here.. but yeah.. still have to say only thing that will bring the Crowd in Miami is winning games.. keep your all you can eat seats and 4 for $44. Who wants to pay money to see this type of nonsense losing baseball?

Not official yet but most likely happening. Continuing the Braves tradition of picking up recent former Marlins. Funny how teams like the Mets, Phillies and Braves seem to always pick up or trade for Marlins players consistently and it very rarely happens the other way around just for like Jean Segura and Adam Duvall(who Braves got back that same year anyways.) Watch Gurriel get called in later in the season and go 4-8 vs the Marlins. Have to say it again.. Yuli is a girls name.

You’re right.. Scott will be gone and Bender will be the closer. However, I think if Cabrera, Garrett and Weathers pitch good as a trio with Rogers and whoever also in the rotation.. plus Jazz and Burger and Nick Gordon and Bell and Jesus Sanchez in the lineup. Marlins have potential to go from a 100 loss team to an 85 loss team with 70 or so wins. 😂

Have to be realistic though. Chances of Bruce + rest of Marlins ownership group selling team during 2024 or even in the next several years is slim to none. If you’re basing your happiness of the 2024 on the Marlins getting a new owner. Might as well just give up now and be sad here in April. A more realistic wish will be for the Marlins to not lose 100 games. Come to think of it. My wish for a successful 2024 season would be to see the return of former MB.com regular @SonOfJack.
