Another tough outing for Milly against Memphis. Control wasn't there with 6 walks in 4 innings.

Rome wasn't built in a day and there is still a ways to go for long-term success but right now the big league squad is a well-oiled machine and the minors are firing on all cylinders as well. It's almost as if all that infrastructure work like improved facilities, weight room, analytics, and strategies are starting to come to fruition. Laying the groundwork for sustainable success was sort of mocked but King Bendix is looking pretty prescient right now.

Gritty outing by Gusto. Would love to see him stretched out a little more to not overtax the bullpen. This team is a machine right now.

The Cardinals have a guy in AAA with 26 HR's. Joshua Baez. He's 23.

Gusto sort of reminds me of a poor man's right-hand version of Blake Snell. If we can get anything out of him it would be a huge boost.

It really is incredible how good a hitter Otto Lopez has become. This was a no power, no hit guy who was released at a young age. Absolute miracle work and credit where it is due.
