  1. Miggy looks good. I'd say he lost, oh, about 20-25 pounds. He's in good shape now. This is basically what he looked like his second year (first full year) in the league. if you look at the videos posted in another thread of the nlcs game in 03 and look at his at bat, you could see how much bigger he is now. he was pretty skinny in that video against the cubs.
  2. what a load of crap, cabs had better stats that wright.

    ESPN RADIO QUESTION

its not on there anymore. does anyone know what it switched to?
  4. the station that used to play espn radio is different now (it doesnt even have to do with sports) does anyone know what happened?
  5. forget it. u guy are nuts. you'll miss him.
  6. I'm trying to get the fact across that he gets treated like crap here by you guys (because of the dumb posts) and by mr. yankee seaon ticket holder aka Loria. If Loria doesnt like the job Girardi is doing THEN WHY DOESNT HE GO MANAGE? OR GO PUT SAMPSON IN A UNIFORM AND STICK HIM IN THE DUGOUT. Let Joe do his damn job and stop critizing him on everything. If you listened to interviews, you would learn how smart he is and how much he cares. He's done an amazing job. I'm not asking you to take credit away from the front office. I'm not asking you to take credit away from the players. I'm just wondering why Joe receives ZERO credit. All the negative words towards Joe is EMBARESSING. Why are you taking Loria's side? How's that stadium coming along Mr. Loria???????????? this team was supposed to lose about 110 games
  7. After reading some of your posts, I am just embarresed. You guys treat Girardi like dirt. He's about to get fired by Jeffrey Loria and nobody cares. You are too busy thinking about who will replace him. And you know what the saddest thing is? One of you will make a poll in the near future asking whos fault it was we didn't make the play-offs, and most of you will vote for Girardi! EVEN THOUGH WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER SNIFFED THE PLAYOFFS!!! Girardi had a team of over 20 rookies and a 15 million dollar payroll play meaningful games in September. Go ahead and say it was ALL talent. Don't praise Joe like Loria won't. Give all the credit to Beinfest. Well gues what? We had a great team last year but Jack couldn't get us to the play-offs. I've been listening to interviews with Girardi and he really is a great guy and he gets treated like crap in South Florida and it's so embarressing for this team. He makes a mistake (all manageres obviously make mistakes) and he is ASKED TO APOLOGIZE IN FRONT OF THE TEAM. He handles it like a man and keeps winning, and he just gets punched in the face by those sleazeballs Sampson and Loria. But Joe is a class act and doesn't say one bad thing about them. And have you ever thought maybe the reason we dont have a stadium is because people just dont like Loria? He's just not a nice guy. They don't want to give their money to him. Go ahead and pick out every dumb mistake Girardi made, but it's easy to gamble with a play and have a rookie mess up and make you look bad. He's done a great job, and people (and Loria) would realize that if they went to more than two games. So forget about Joe and what he did for us in 2006. Let him go. He deserves better than the way he gets treated. Go get Jack off the rocking chair in Carolina. Go get Fredi for the 4 spanish players on the team. Go get Lou Pinella so he can scold Olsen.
  8. Special appearance: As Randolph was concluding his pregame press conference, Marlins third baseman Miguel Cabrera dropped by in his street clothes, interrupting with a surprise visit. "We're going to win today," Cabrera said. Randolph arched his neck to identify the source of the deep baritone voice, then chuckled. "It won't matter," Randolph said, "but that's all right. I like his confidence."
  9. damn miggy has better stats than arod
  10. when deciding who gets the silver slugger award, do they just look at homeruns and rbis and average or do they also look at things like slg, obp, doubles, walks(like all the stats)?
  11. so theres nothing over the weekend in the mornings?
  12. last year, there were segments on the marlins every weekend. they were recaps of what happened that week and other stuff. does anybody know what day that is on & at what time? also, is it on fsn still? thanks
  13. Fishfan don't you think Abercrombie has a chance to stay ? He seems to be playing a bit better as of late. yea and olivo has been pretty decent.. i think better then expected
  14. I could see Cabrera running around the infield swinging a bat wildly. lol
