Ha, yeah, I've seen him - I was the official scorer for the Batavia Muckdogs when he pitched there in 2010. He threw hard, but he didn't strike me as someone who would be a future star or anything like that. I just looked at his stats and he had an ERA over 7 that year, so I guess that's why I don't have fond memories of him.
  2. My problem is that hot shot title changes like that kind of devalue the title. That's also kinda what MITB is for, though. It's not like it's the first time this has happened.
  3. Torn labrum for Sheamus. Out up to six months.
  4. Apparently it was staged. The guy who hit him in the nuts has worked in lower circuit wrestling before. Nothing more than a publicity stunt. Not staged. Guy charged with assault: http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe/32495-orton-attacker-charged-pleads-guilty
  5. The Summerslam title matches will be Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena and Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio. Plus, Brock Lesnar vs. CM Punk.
  6. Cena vs. Bryan set for Summerslam.
  7. Bryan and Ambrose are the safest guesses, I think.
  8. Matt Morgan asked for and was granted his release from TNA.
  9. Several TNA roster cuts today: Christian York, Taeler Hendrix, Crimson, Joey Ryan, and Madison Rayne (contract not renewed). pwtorch.com is reporting that TNA is a month behind on payroll. Maybe Sting will finally make it to WWE? The latest rumor from Meltzer is that he has sent feelers to WWE about going there when his latest contract expires. When does it expire? Even though he is 54, he can still wrestle. Undertaker vs Sting, Cena vs Sting, HHH vs Sting and CM Punk vs Sting would all be entertaining matches. Even Rock vs Sting at Wrestlemania, if Rock ever comes back. I think it's around December or January.

  12. Cesaro probably for WHC. My guess. I would approve.
  13. I'm not sure why they are having Ryback vs Jericho. They must not be having a WHC money in the bank. I think its a good idea to have Ryback go after the WHC for a while. The WHC MITB match was announced on Smackdown. Ryback needs a big win on PPV after losing to Cena for a while, and Jericho is a guy who can do a job because he's going away again, so Ryback gets his big win and maybe gets to destroy Jericho on Y2J's way out.
  14. The Shield. That would be kind of a strange match-up, with both being heels. I think they should concentrate more on Bray Wyatt as a singles guy at first, then maybe turn the other two into a tag-team.
  15. Interesting "debut" for Curtis Axel this past Monday. What did you think of the Bray Wyatt/Wyatt Family vignette? I've been watching him in NXT and I'm a big fan. The other two need some work, but I'm happy that all three are coming up. That gimmick has been main-level ready for a long time, but Wyatt got hurt and it was put on hold. I don't know about bringing the whole "family" up, but I did see Brodie Lee (aka Luke Harper) at a local independent show one time, so I'm rooting for him.
  16. Interesting "debut" for Curtis Axel this past Monday. Also, Wrestlemania's preliminary buys announced at 1.048 million, well below the estimated 1.2 or 1.3 million WWE had touted before the show.
  17. Haven't heard anything about HHH retiring. More likely he gets the win here after Lesnar beat him at Summerslam. Yeah, with Lesnar re-signing and likely facing The Rock next year at WM (at least, as of now), you could make the argument for Lesnar to win, too.
  18. Stipulation for Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar: No Holds Barred, HHH's career on the line.
  19. Bully Ray turned heel and joined Aces & Eights last night at Lockdown.
  20. Undertaker returned at a house show last night! Looks like he'll be around for wrestlemania. Hopefully, he'll make his return during the Vince vs Paul Heyman street fight and we'll get Lesnar vs Undertaker. A house show seems a strange time for him to return. Kinda takes away from the surprise when the lights go and the bell tolls on Raw (this week?).Makes house shows seem important, and could draw in more viewers who will now expect to see him on Raw.
  21. Put a hold on that Jack Swagger push: He was arrested last night after the Smackdown tapings for DUI and possession of marijuana.
  22. Hell has frozen over: Bruno Sammartino has agreed to be inducted into the WWE HOF this year.
