Berardino's Latest Article
Some mind-bogglingly amazing stats in that article when it comes to what the rest of the team has (or should I say hasn't) done. And I still stick by the fact that they are so close to the playoffs through this all, the combinations will eventually slide into place and click, even if it comes with 2 weeks left in the season.

"24" Season 5 Update
24 is without a doubt the best television that you can possibly watch. Season 4 was definately my favorite (and I have been watching since the beginning on day 1), and im anticipating this season more than any before!

Sports Illustrated's All 25 and under team
I know it's sudden, but Francoeur deserves a spot on that list. And next year, so will Hermida :shifty . 906325 Agreed. I can not believe the impact that guy has had. From his first game, I've been watching what he's doing every night and it is unbelievable.

Bitter Mets fans
My friend that is a Mets fan insists that David Wright will be better than Cabrera. He also says the Mets have more talent overall than the Marlins. I just ignore him.

Poor Moehler
This team pretty much can not win a one run game unless the starter goes at least 8 innings.

Mikey Lowell pulls off the HIDDEN BALL TRICK
Just found this... Hidden Ball Trick Its now happened 232 times since 1876, and Mike Lowell did it last. 898381 That...is amazing! 232 times out of MILLIONS of games. Hardly anything rarer. And in such a big spot too! 898468 Actually, there have only been approximately 600k games since 1877 rather than millions, lol. 898526 :banghead Oh well. :lol

Incredible incident in Yanks/White Sox game
Anyone see the video of the kid smirking at the camera as he was taken away in cuffs? I wanted to smack the you know what out of him. Probably deserved for the net to break.

Gonzalez batting 5th
Did anyone else see a big time intensity from Alex tonight at the plate? To me, it looked like he was very excited at the opportunity to bat 5th in the lineup again after strugging in the spot last night, and stepped up. Not only did he have that huuuge shot off the wall in the 8th, but also drew two walks! I think it was an excellent decision to stick with him at 5th in the order tonight, and he came through. What are your thoughts?

Tonight highlites the need for Lowell
Bat him 8th if we must, because his defense is nothing less than stellar.

I do remember Lowell's triple play in Montreal a few years back. I wonder how many of those have been made in MLB history.
