  1. I'm as excited about this game as I was on Opening Day. Crush their dreams! Send them home crying! GO FISH!!!!!
  2. Anibal's been killed in the past by the Phillies, but those starts have all been in Philly. Here's hoping home-field advantage makes a difference tonight. Let's go Fish!!!
  3. Whoa! I didn't know a bag of douche could formulate an argument. Know what else "devalues your value," Gregg? Blowing nine saves in spectacular fashion. Many happy returns with another team next year, ass hat.
  4. I hope Johnson's going to get ahead in the count as often as Wainwright is.
  5. Stirring. Passionate. The perfect call-to-arms. Let's shoot for mediocrity tonight, guys. Go Fish.
  6. I've got a good feeling about this series. Uggla's numbers at Turner suggest a possible offensive comeback, which, if the heavens open up and it actually comes to fruition, could not come at a better time. Olsen needs to step it up tonight and feed off the greatness that is Ricky Nolasco. Let's go, Fish!
  7. That speech was just what I needed after being surrounded by Cubs fans last night. We're down, but we're not out. Let's do this, Fish!
  8. Is there any other team that capitalizes less on walks (especially those of the lead-off variety) than we do? We never make anyone pay. It's ridiculous.
  9. Beinfest says Jake is aggressive for leading the league in first pitches swung at. I say he's impatient and stupid. Agreed.
  10. Nice lead-off walk, Hammer. Let's get something going here.
  11. Feel-good story of the year. Pass.
  12. Teams suffer through losing streaks all the time. The Cubs got hammered by the Rays (whom I now hate almost as much as the Phillies) and the D-Backs have been playing dead for about three weeks now. I may get pissed when one of our relievers screws up a game that, up until that point, had been an exciting one to watch, and I have been known to suffer chest pains when Gregg's put in with a one-run lead, but I'm still extremely impressed with this team. Now that interleague is thankfully over, I'm looking forward to seeing this team give Philly a run for its money. Every person on this forum is a diehard Fish fan (especially those of you with thousands of posts), so let's cut the crap and enjoy this unexpected ride.
  13. Let's get some good mojo working tonight and take down the D-Backs! Go Fish!
  14. Retro would make a good meteorlogist (and I have a feeling I spelled that wrong). meterologist Classic. I believe the word you're referring to is, "meteorologist."
  15. I want to see Webb at 9-1 after tonight's game. Let's go Fish!
  16. Let's hope Olsen can get that velocity up and dominate these baby blue pricks.
  17. You will not find a creepier Gameday photo than Jon Rauch's.
  18. Who else would rather not see Pinto in this situation? Double play helps. Aaaaaaaand I'm an idiot. Nevermind.
  19. I saw some pretty noticeable improvements in Miller and Badenhop in their last starts, so I have reason to believe that they're finally turning things around (the success of Olsen and Hendrickson must have lit a fire under their collective ass). I'm also loving Uggla in the five or six spot, and I'm praying that Fredi sees the light and keeps him there when Willingham comes back. Regardless of the season's outcome, I've had a great time watching the Fish prove everyone wrong thus far. Good times.
  20. Regardless of the case's validity, he hasn't been letting it bother him. I've been pulling for Cantu since the battle for third during spring training and have been extremely impressed with his play.
  21. Let's get to Redding early and make it seven games over .500! GO FISH! :arms
  22. Is it going to be Chico or Redding on the mound? The preview section on ESPN is saying that Redding's going to be on the mound.
