  1. I respect those who respect me and my team.. so a thumbs up to them posters! :thumbup
  2. Cheers indeed, my friend! :beer good and FUN season, no doubt.. regardless if we make it or not..always a next year!
  3. Err..... Let's go FISH! Let's knock the *WIND* outta them Astros and make it a 8-game streak!! :horse :marlins
  4. Woohoo! Marlins OWNED! Good win. :wave
  5. Happy to see they got a 4-game winning streak. It's always better than the 2-game winning streak we we're stuck on for a while. Hope this can start rolling and turn into a longer one.
  6. Anibal is still coming back from a tough injury, its ok that he isnt playing 100%. No reason to shut him down unless something is hurting. Otherwise its good that he pitches so he can slowly regain his form. I think he's altered his delivery a little because of the injury and I think his location is off as a result. His breaking ball is hanging a bit more also. I think he will eventually get it together as his shoulder gets stronger and the muscle memory returns. As long as he's not having pain I think its ok to let him pitch but don't overwork him in games. I agree with these fellas (or
  7. Idk about anyone else, If it was me... i'd apologize personally to every hitter I didnt mean to hit.. sure, it's easy to tell which ones were intentional! lol..but I think courtesy goes a long way.
  8. seeing as i don't own a ps3 i can't tell you if the show is any good, i have 360 but mlb 2k8 is great! I saw a fix for the sliders and the game plays just like in real life it's amazing. no hitting 50 homeruns a game or pitching shutouts every time, it's the real thing. I'd have to say that 08: The Show is pretty realistic as well. I have gone through like 15 seasons on normal difficulty in Road To The Show and have YET to have a perfect game, or a no-hitter. Even shutouts are hard, and umpires dont always make the right calls at the plate with balls and strikes like in real life. In al
  9. I used to be a 2K fan before they started f***in it all up. '08:The Show was the first one from the series I have played/bought and its great. Besides all the extra/bonus fun little things to add.. one thing that DEFINITELY should be added is.. COLLISION DETECTION.. im pretty sure everybody knows that in real life baseball players dont pass right THROUGH first basemen like ghosts as they're trying to make it to first....or stealing second, etc.
  10. What's the point of naming it "OTHER"? Are they trying to start problems or what? That really pisses me off. As if those two are the only that matter in that division. I have no idea why they hate the Marlins either.. i mean is it the World Series wins? Cuz if its that, then the reason why they like the Cubs is justifiable! :mischief
  11. Im not even a transplant fan even if I wanted to be (I live in Vegas..so thank god fo that) and I do cheer for the Las Vegas 51's (their Triple-A club)..but anyways God, those type of fans are so annoying..but we won today so, screw em! Our team needs all the love they can get.. I suggest signs in cars that spark up an emotion. Idk what exactly but somethin like... "Bandwagon fans..move out of Florida..Marlins fans..I'll see you at the game!" Something HAS to be done, I hate to see things go this way.
  12. Hoorah!! LETS GO MARLINS!! Let's show em our balls.....and bats!
  13. Very nice...i like it! I feel that the Away Alt. socks should be BLACK.. Take a look at it and tell me what you guys think. I think its a little too much teal. It would balance it out more. One thing i DONT like much, is the M... not feeling it. Oh and how about black sleeves on the Away Alt. jersey? Soooo who's going to send these concepts to the people in charge? :shifty P.S. if there's a "Save The Teal" pettition out there...just show me where! :thumbup
  14. I say, bring him in! Why shouldnt we get somebody who's willing to work his ass off to play for a team who's in contention to the playoffs? He wants to work to be the starter, idk about anybody else, but I sure havent seen that from any of our catchers. The willingness! I think we should try him out to see what he's capable of, and i dont just mean stupid stats. I mean a guy who's playing his ass off and is in with his heart, and to me Zaun sounds like that guy. I see a bunch of people here saying the same as everybody else. What happens if we DO get one of the other guys and they underperform
  15. Escobar es Cubano, pero ese comepinga nos mata! :banghead Haha i feel ya. Pero es tremendo jugador. Its a bitter sweat feeling, you feel proud for the guy because he's from your country and does good, but then again...it's against your favorite team...so you hate him for it, lol.
  16. Wow, that's awesome. Cuba would never play here, though. Dont ruin it, man! You neeeever know! Haha (Let a guy have a dream!) If Cuba would play in Miami I would for SURE be on the first flight to Miami and buy myself a ticket for the game!
  17. Gotta agree with all of yall :thumbup Oh and Utley? Need I say more? :thumbdown Go UGGLA! :notworthy :Batter :gofishb
  18. Haha you guys have me crackin up :lol I feel bad for the real ugly ones though lol Like that baboon from the Astros... But i wouldn't know what uglyness is, i dont have that issue :cool I liked that article, even though on some guys it seemed like the guy was stretching it. Cody's pic just gives me a little chuckle (hah... see?) thats all.
  19. I could never pick a 3rd OFer. I thought Hunter Pence had done good.. voted for him as one. I too voted for Rabelo for a while :lol Buuut... then switched to Soto :whistle
  20. Uggla is the Right Handed Chase Utley, which ultimately makes him a bit less valuable, but we are not likely to do better at 2b any time soon. The man is the best player at 2B this team has ever had. Best? That's argueable.. Did everybody forget about Luis Castillo? In 2002 he had a 35-game hitting streak An NL All-Star in 2002,2003,and 2005 NL Gold Glover in 2003,2004,and 2005 lead the league in groundball percentage in 2002,2004,and 2005 and he was with the Marlins when they won both of their titles (albeit, injured in 1997) ...and that's JUST for the Marlins
  21. I voted for Uggla, of course. Not only because Im a Marlins fan, but because I believe he deserved it. Utley is having a great year,no doubt, but SO is Dan! The only reason I think he got that many votes is because he's more popular, and because a lot just, frankly, jumped on the bandwagon of who was in first. That's why he was overshadowed.. But hey, who cares anymore.. he's going to New York, and going to win the Homerun Derby :thumbup
  22. I hope he isnt nervous out there and just tries his best..but not do too much! I'll be happy with a decent effort...let's not forget.. he's coming off rehab. Isn't Uggla coming back today too?
