There are too many numbers to display how much better Jose is than Alvarez but I'll just leave this: Jose accumulated a 1.6 WAR in just 51 IP this year. Alvarez? 2 WAR in 140+ IP. Love having both of them though.

You say this on the assumption we'd be able to re-sign Price, which is unlikely. Price is club controlled through the 2015 season. The rest of this season plus next year would still be worth it.

It's possible to be happy when this team is playing well and not think they will win 90 games. :mischief2

Dyson, Caminero, and Hatcher I think are all capable middle relievers. If he continues to do well in Jax then Wittgren as well. While I would like to see them get a chance, I don't see how they are current 'capable' big league relievers.

I can't believe the roof was open today. It should be done a lot more. It really feels like more of a ballpark when it's open. It was unusually nice out today. Unfortunately, the summer weather is typically unbearable. AC > 85 degree heat and humidity.

Jeffrey actually doesn't seem to like him much, actually... That's what he wants us to think.
