What happened to Hensley? I was away from my computer when it happened. It looks like he blew out his shoulder. I believe he already had surgery on it, so this could be career threatening.

So Gaby had a bad game, I take it? Those aren't allowed. Obviously its allowed, but as many have speculated Gaby probably has overachieved quite a bit so far, and expecting some kind of slump or fall off coming soon. yeah, i expect gaby to hit in the .280s maybe .290s, so i dont mind him hitting into two dps. It happens, but that baserunning.....If your going go - you´re forcing a reliever to make a catch and tag at the plate, but he went after the pitcher already had the ball....

You guys.. the whole domain name thing is a bunch of hogwash. People will register that for like 10 bucks. If the Marlins decide upon Bacardi, for example, the Marlins will not buy the domain from someone who registered it for much at all. Instead they'll just register Bacardi-Ballpark or become creative. People who try and buy domains to make money are stupid. It doesn't work. Unless you register icloud.com and get 4.5 million from apple.

Volstad will never be appreciated for his value. When you compare him only to 4th and 5th starters he looks a lot better. Also, there is little appreciation as fans for pitchers that are in their 4th season, at an age that most pitchers are hoping for a shot at the bigs. Nolasco, with similar performance, is going to be more highly thought of because when he is on, he owns. Volstad is never going to just dominate, when gets it all together he is just going to quietly retire guys. Volstad was a stud when he first came on, and when he´s on he can dominate in a Westbrook kind of way. Either way I dont really get on Volstads way, because I get that he´s 24, but this a make or break year for him with the marlins. I want to see him reach his potential here not elsewhere. You wonder if having a horrible defense behind him prior to this season negatively affected the way he pitches....

I'm really confused why Edwin thought it was a good idea to let JJ go out there in the 8th (especially with the heart of the order coming up). Or if you do, at least have two guys warming up just in case. he had dunn ready, whose had being pretty much automatic he failed against the one the hottest hitters in baseball. The only other thing Edwin could have done was send Choate to face Rasmus, and then call in Dunn/Hensley, but that could have also backfired.

JJ was due to give up a run, calm down people.

i dont think hanley should have played today, hes having trouble lifting the ball, and is facing a guy whos made a good living getting grounders.

Hutton will remain as long as he wants, besides I don´t think Conine wants to do all that travel. I do think Allison Williams should permanently replace Craig Minervini, she does better interviews and is a really nice eye candy. Allison is decent eye candy if you look past her nose, but she stutters 50 times per interview. Yeah I´ve noticed she lacks confidence, but at least she ask real questions rather than put words into the players mouth.
