  1. 60 bucks at the stadium....they tell me it just takes a few minutes....I still have to get one over there to have them done...
  2. Sometimes I swear that Braman has threatened to pull advertising dollars if they don't keep writing negative articles..... First yesterday's article about the so-so attendance at the new park... Then this morning's front section says "MARLINS AWAY--In Philadelphia for a 3 game series" SERIOUSLY??? I'm sure the Nationals and Marlins will be surprised to see that, since they are playing a series at Marlins Park....!! WTF??
  3. I know they're just trying to sell papers (something they haven't been very good at lately..), but is anyone else getting tired of their constant negativity towards the team and ballpark???
  4. MLB.com I just rec'd my black one from them....heads up, tho....the new model from Majestic seems to run a tad trimmer than the ones they did in the past...love the new lighter weight fabric, tho...we may actually be able to wear them comfortably in the summer here....
  5. This is the guy I would love to see in a Marlins' jersey...more than any other.... Are u serious.... Yup.... We ain't getting Puhols,so quit dreaming...Reyes has major injury issues... Cespedes has a ton of skills, and would be the young talent to bring peeps to the ballpark....
  6. Just ordered the black authentic and Bp cap..... Will probably get the orange one next, followed by the grey one....won't get the white....
  7. This is the guy I would love to see in a Marlins' jersey...more than any other....
  8. Love the new name!! That is what it should have been back in 1993!! Will probably be shopping for new duds soon....
  9. OK....after looking at the new look.....I got the following thoughts: 1. Could they have done a better job with it? Probably. 2. Do I hate the new look? Nah... 3. I actually like the road jersey, the black one, and the orange alternative. The home whites are kind of dull.... 4. The logo on the cap seems a bit on the large size....don't mind the logo too much...just need to downsize it a bit... 5. I do wish the would get rid of the yellow on the logo....doesn't seem to fit.... 6. Not panicking too much on the look....It'll probably get tweaked in a year or two....see the Devil Rays, the Blue Jays, the Panthers blue home jerseys of a couple of years back (what were they thinking with all that piping...??), etc....
  10. I'm preparing myself for the uniforms to be awful. There's a great way to go through life...... Yeah, because the revealing of new uniforms is totally a parallel to life in general. My point is that people here are expecting to hate the new unit without actually seeing what everything is going to look like....In my many years of being on this earth, I have found that those people just LOVE to be unhappy..... After the big reveal, go ahead and hate if you want to, but to "expect" to hate it...?? Before you have actually seen it?? Really..??

  12. Going to be a fun spot to catch a few innings.....they were talking about it when I got my tour a couple of months back...
  13. I'm not sure what is not to like...I like the idea of having a college tourney there in March....
  14. I am starting to feel a buzz for next year from a whole lot of people that never have paid much attention to the team before this.... Even my good friends who were against the ballpark (most of them) are starting to get excited about going to games next year and are also glad about the rebranding of the team....It's almost as if NOW they feel it is Miami's team.... I know its a lot, but I would love to see the area embrace the team the way the other cities do....
  15. From a Marlins standpoint: I was lucky enough to be at Josh Beckett's Game 5 performance against the Cubs in 2003. That was some of the finest post-season pitching I've ever seen and is lost in the shuffle of "Steve Bartman" and the 3-1 comeback. From a history standpoint: I saw Ken Griffy Jr. hit his 600th homerun against Mark Hendrickson. I was happy from the point I witnessed history, wasn't that happy that the Marlins lost the game because of another homerun. Not Griffy's, but Paul Bako's... I was at that a game, too....Very sweet to see all those mopy cubs' fans leaving.....Being a White Sox fan, it was doubly sweet!
