Liverpool dominated the ball the entire game, Milan wins 2-1.

it was the opposite of the 2005 game.

Liverpool couldn't capitalise and Milan did on the few chances they had.

Also, the ref added 3 mins of extra time and blew the whistle after 2:30. You might say that 30 seconds isn't a lot, but it takes a fraction of one to score a goal.

Outside of Kaka, the play of both teams was unspectacular. Pretty boring actually.

How much did Berlusconi have to pay?

Some of those goal kicks awarded to Milan were questionable. Who knows what happens if they end up being corners.

I didn't get to see the game, but from what I hear Liverpool had good ball control but didn't even get a shot until real late in the game. It wouldn't surprise me if it was sold. Berlusconi has a history for this sort of thing.

Liverpool controlled it most of the game, but they didn't have many shots on goal. Dida didn't have to work much

Kind of a meh game. Tons of electricity in the crowd though.

Nice to see we'll get to see a lot of Euro 2008 on ESPN.

Steven Gerrard seemed to be the only player trying to do anything offensively.

Say all you want about Ronaldinho and Kaka, Gerrard is the best overall midfielder in the world.

There's a guy who plays on both sides of the ball and doesn't just wait to attack.

I'd say he's the best midfielder in the premiership. But I'm a little biased :shifty

Here's 4 midfielders in the Premiership that are light years better than Arteta:

Steven Gerrard
Cristiano Ronaldo
Frank Lampard
Cesc Fabregas

Having a hard time detecting the sarcasm, eh? And it's funny, 2 of the 4 players you mentioned may not be the best midfielders on their own teams.

Lampard definitely isn't. I'm taking Ballack over Lampard any day.
