Ricky Nolasco

(1-0, 5.68)

vs.

Brad Penny

(3-0, 1.64)

A year ago, the Dodgers frustrated the Marlins, taking five of six in the season series.

The Marlins look to reverse the trend beginning Monday in a four-game set. Los Angeles took all three meetings at Dolphin Stadium in 2006.

Florida enters the series having dropped two of three to the Padres, including two straight.

At home, the Marlins are 8-9.

In the series opener, Ricky Nolasco takes the hill, making his second start. After spending much of the season on the disabled list, Nolasco beat the Mets at Shea Stadium in his last outing. The right-hander scattered six hits and yielded one run in that performance.

The Dodgers are going with former Florida right-hander, Brad Penny, who is off to a 3-0 start with a 1.64 ERA. Traded to Los Angeles in 2004, Penny is 0-1 with an 8.18 ERA in two starts against Florida since that deal.

Let's get a must needed win and avoid a three game slide.

Let's go Rick! It's on local TV here in the LA metro area, so there are quite a few Dodger fans cheering for the Marlins tonight, at least for 7 or so innings.
