Athletics vs Marlins 6/4
Time: 7:05 ET
Forecast: Scattered Thunderstorms

vs
Hudson vs Redman
4-2, 3.20 | 3-2, 2.76

HC's preview :compute The Marlins and Athletics continue their first interleague series of the season as Mark Redman and Tim Hudson take the mound in game two of the 3-game series. In last night's game Mulder was aiming for a league-leading 9th win, only to get chased after 3 2/3 innings as Florida launched an 18-hit assault on the Oakland pitching staff and took game one 13-2.

Mike Lowell led the hit parade with two 3-run blasts and a career high six RBIs. Derek Lee went 4-for-4, even pitcher Brad Penny got into the act with a three run triple while holding the A's to 1 run through 7 innings. The Marlins improved to 62-41 in interleague play.

Tim Hudson tonight tries to rebound from his worst start of the year as he was touched up for nine runs in 3 2/3 innings Friday against the Royals.

Coming off a month-long stay on the DL for a fractured thumb, Mark Redman returned to the rotation Friday and gave up 2 runs in 6 innings in Cincinnati. The lefthander will try to continue an impressive season of starts. In 7 outings he has allowed 2 runs or less five times, and his strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.21) is the highest of his career.

Josh's prediction :king :

Coming off a horrible start, Hudson will have to face an even more impressive offensive club than before. To add to that, it's also a club he is unfamiliar with. Marl Redman is very knowledgable of the A's, and will therefore be more comfortable and familiar against them than Hudson against Florida. Although, it could become a pitchers duel quickly. :jerry

The Marlins are also coming off there second most impressive offensive out of the season. It will be hard to stop their tear of 8 wins in 11 games...

Final Verdict: The Marlins pull-off another extrordinary offensive performance, and dominate another inter-league game. :magic 8-1 Marlins
