this guy was terrible, does an 11 era appeal to anyone? and that inning against the red sox was the last straw, this guy has been pitching like a has been all year long, no wonder nobody signed him. all the braves fans called him redman plug, said the basement story was lies, etc. if you value your team, do not get this guy.
As a pitching coach in Jamestown, maybe. Otherwise, no.

For whatever reason, Pro Player is about the only place that Redman found success. Given that our rotation is in shambles featuring that TBD guy (who gets around a bunch, almost as much as that PTBNL guy...wonder if they're related) and I see no reason why this would hurt as a stop-gap look.
I mean, it'll be July before Sanchez, JJ and Nolasco are in the same rotation so depth isn't a bad idea at all for us.
