Chargers' Kiel Cited for Urination

SAN DIEGO -- Chargers strong safety Terrence Kiel was cited for urinating in public last month, his second run-in with the law in less than three months and the eighth by a San Diego player since April.

Maria Velasquez, spokeswoman for City Attorney Mike Aguirre, confirmed that Kiel was cited and released by police outside a nightclub in the Gaslamp Quarter at 1:50 a.m. on Dec. 18. The case is being reviewed and no charges have been filed yet, Velasquez said. Kiel is scheduled to make a court appearance on Feb. 20.

"It's very disappointing when you hear of things like this," Chargers general manager A.J. Smith said.

Kiel faces five felony drug charges stemming from his arrest in late September by Drug Enforcement Administration agents. The DEA said Kiel admitted to shipping at least two parcels of prescription cough syrup to Texas, apparently to be mixed with soft drinks to make a concoction known as "lean."

Kiel was led off the practice field and arrested in the locker room on Sept. 26. He didn't accompany the team to its game at Baltimore the following Sunday.

The Chargers were an NFL-best 14-2 and earned home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs, but were upset 24-21 by the New England Patriots in the divisional round.

I love how the Bengals get all the press for there 9 arrests......yet the Chargers now have 8 arrests and people just look the other way..... o well....i guess selling prescription drugs, steriods, and wife beating isnt as important as 7 DUI's, a tazor , and a wife beating

not that i'm letting the Bengals off the hook.....what there doing is terriable...but there not the only team with 5 + Team members going to jail..all these people bringing the Bengals down all the time need to get off there high horse and see how many arrests there teams have had in the recent past.

unfortunitly i remeber that game....the feeling I had after that game reminded me of the 90's so much :confused ...well, i guess the whole season was like that come to think of it....nothing like blowing a 35-7 lead in 14 minutes .....

allright..... time to forget the nightmare that was last season and move on..

Funny but true story...

The guy sitting next to us was wearing orange and black but no logo stuff, I dind't really note it. So, as the game progresses he doesn't really say much until the Chargers score and he's kind of lightly pumping his fist. So, then the guys behind us get some Goldstar coneys and he keeps calling them hot dogs and I'm likt, "WTF!?" I knew something was up. So, the Chargers finally take the lead and this guy is jumping around and acting like an ass and the dude's behind him, who still think he's a Bengals fan, hate, "WHO CARES ABOUT THE f***ING CHARGERS!? WE'RE LOSING!" And his response was, "He's on my fantasy team." To which I responded, "Nobody gives a sh*t about your fantasy team! You could at least wear your team's sh*t and not have to hide. This ain't Oakland..." And then he left.

Aside from the Steeler's games, I have NEVER seen hositility towards other teams fans. And those Steelers fights usually break out due to the fact that there's almost as many Steeler fans as Bengals fans and those doods can get pretty ballsy with their little towels.

But, yeah, that was the worst day ever.
