USAtoday.com says Nate Field and John Gall were sent to AAA.

Congrats to Lee Gardner and Jason Wood, who made the team by virtue of these moves.

EDIT: Also, P Mike Koplove, who was released in the exodus yesterday, signed a minor-league deal with the Indians today.

Gardner deserved this, no doubt about it. Congratulations on a job well earned.

he shouldnt be around long anyway and it's nice to reward a long-time org player once in awhile with a few days on the big roster. he's almost raked...so maybe he'll get us a few key hits at the outset.

They certainly earned their spots. Good luck to them and congrats on their hard work paying off.

Psyched that Wood made the team. He left a real good impression with me last year in his limited stint.

May turn out to be a clutch bat for the late innings.

no way! felix rodriguez earned a spot over Gardner

Haha...what did Rodriguez have like 10 walks in 12 innings?

How did anyone earn a spot over someone who pitched 13.1 scoreless innings?

How? Gardner pitched 13 scoreless innings and Rodriguez walked 9 and allowed 2 runs in 11 innings.
