Been a little more than two weeks. Just thought I'd revisit the trade. Julio's pitched pretty well, as he showed signs of during that two-inning outing after the DL stint. Kim's been pretty decent too though.

In 2 weeks julio has pitched 3 innings... :lol

As of right now this trade was great for us. I hope Kim keeps this attitude if they move him back to the pen later in the season.

6 shutout inings and another win versus what julio put us though?

sometimes a guy needs a change of scenery... he might still have something, but it wouldnt be here

Kim was not happy at all with his situation in Colorado and the Rockies weren't happy with him. Getting out of there was a must.

It doesn't really matter to me what Julio does. It was a situation where we desperately needed to unload a guy because he was not going to be succesful in this situation.

Kim has been doing fine. If you're going to compare numbers, compare his last three starts with the last three starts of the rest of our rotation. Mitre aside, he's doing fine. I wouldn't take Jorge Julio back if he offered to play for free.

Kim has got filthy stuff. If he could ever cut down on the walks, we'd have a huge steal.
