It's really not a huge deal. He's been shooting like crap lately anyway, and with Eddie Jones and Posey, we're a little redundant at that position anyway.
When Kapono's on, he's obviously a major asset, but we should be okay. He'll be back before too long.

You are right, as long as it's a day-to-day type thing and he can get back on the court soon, it's not a huge deal considering he hasn't been scoring much lately. Perhaps Kapono's recent struggles is a good thing since he should be easier to sign in the off season. Had he maintained his 56% 3 point shooting, some desperate team would have thrown an insane amount of money at him. He'll still get a good deal, but i'm hoping the Heat can re-sign him for around the $3-$4 million range.
