I'm excited! On paper we have them but they are at home and Patterson is extremely tough! I'd be happy with 2 out of 3 to open the season!

I like how the Nat's starting LF didn't even make the final roster. Who wrote this? Granted Logan's fast recovery (or so he says) was unexpected, but before then the talk was of Snelling and Church starting side by side with Castro on the bench, spotting between 1B and the outfield.

would be dissapointed with anything but a sweep. We are betterthan them in every aspect. Huge advantages in the pitching matchups.

Patterson has had our number lately. Didn't he toss a 2 hitter on us last season?

A sweep on the road is the only acceptable outcome?

You gotta be kiddin.

We didn't exactly own the Nats on the road last year and we didn't exactly make a plethora of offseason upgrades. We did pick up Alex Sanchez though.

I would LOVE 2 out of 3.

Can someone explain to me why a (.262, 20, 77) is hitting ahead of a (.277, 26, 74)? :confused

Because Jacobs hits better against righties than Willingham does

Probably just to sandwich a Lefty in between two righties just to make it harder on the opposing team

Yeah willingham's avg is so so against righties last year but he killed lefties, they should be flip flopping when we face a lefty though.

Finally opening day... Im looking at a combined 2 hitter from D-train and Messanger, Put in a HR from Uggla and Olivio, and we are 1-0

RFK isn't exactly a home run park. And I'd be much more satisfied seeing runs being scored with RISP at this point of the season, anyways.

Right now we have to show the NL East what we are made of. Winning theese first few games could also give our club a confidence boost.

Okay, the game is supposed to start at 1pm right? But does the game usually start at 1pm or later (Opening Day festivities, announcing players etc: )? I have Chem Lab at 12:30pm and I dont want to miss most of the game. Meh.
