The sample is pretty small, and it is not like the Mets didn't pile on the hits last year.

If the over is 12 I still love it.

This isn't even close to a legitimate sample size. Not dogging Ramp for posting it, but it isn't something I would put a lot of weight in to.

I don't think any of us can claim to really know how Nolasco will pitch tonight. It probably won't be good, but you never know, he could surprise us.

I sat through both of his starts against the Mets last year and they weren't pretty. The second game of the double header in Shea and then the next month in JRS, but i must agree I'd just glad to have him back.

Not exactly the best team to come back against regardless.

Anyway I just hope he can hang in there & give the offense a chance, like Olsen last night.

He said he was throwing all four pitches for strikes. Until I see otherwise I'm taking him at his word.

Let's just hope Delgado stays cold for another night, and not forget Valentin is on the DL and Lo Duca is hitting .237 this season, and .167 in his last ten games. I know those stats go out the window when the game begins, but there is more hope than what the chart above indicates, the operative word being "hope".

Why don't we wait to start him at home, rather than on the road against the Mets? I hope he is ready.

From what I remember Noly made a start against the Mets when he was struggling big time. Nolasco has the stuff to get good hitters out so we could win this game. Pelfrey has been struggling too so we have a shot.
