Anyone see this last night?

It's a BBC-produced nature series...11 episodes, running on Sunday nights. They showed 3 last night, and I think they're showing 2 more each Sunday until the run ends. If you missed it and you want to check it out, last night's episodes will be reshown this coming Sunday starting at 11 AM, I believe. The whole thing was shot in high def, and it's probably even more amazing if you have high def TV, which I do not. But it's still pretty awesome on my crappy 13 inch box.

Amazing stuff. If you're into nature shows at all, I give this my highest recommendation.

Here's a clip of one of the highlights from the first episode. Obviously, the picture isn't as good as on TV, but you can get the general idea. This clip is narrated by David Attenborough for the BBC, but the American version had Sigourney Weaver do the narration. I think I like hers better; there's a bit more humor there.

I believe there is only more tonight if you did what I did, and only watched 1 or 2 episodes and DVR'd the rest. New eps on Sunday.

That great white shark attack was pretty amazing. Damn, those things are scary.

It was unreal. The camera angles they had were nothing short of amazing. As soon as i get an HD tv will buy the box set. I cant wait for next week, they are doing desserts and tundras.

I just watched the ocean one, and the footage of the Blue whale was amazing, if only because I've never seen them before/

The blue whale is the largest animal ever to live on earth. I would love to see one in real life.

What are they doing this sunday?

I saw parts of last week's episode.

I found it ironic/funny after watching happy feet....

The part where they showed the seals catching the penguins and destroying the one.
