Save for one inning, the offense in this series was as stomach turning as you can get. But we  weren't swept. Must show some life against the Padres as the opportunity to sweep and recover from this series is there.

Real nice series. Thank you Dee Gordon and our outstanding offense.
If you watched the same game I did you would know that they crushed the ball against Volquez but their BABIP was like .079

Tonights loss was not on the offense. It was bad luck and Dee Gordon.

Actually the 1st 4 as far as offense. Combined they had 1 hit at 15at bats. Really really sad

Only one question, why not PH Dee in the 6th inning ? base loaded with two outs and they send LHP to face Dee,we got three RHH on the bench and Mattingly do nothing, the only one reason was Donnie praised their bullpen's scoreless innings record and doesn't want to destroy it so think Dee was the best choice to hit in that situation.

Eh. Besides the ridiculous catch on yelich it was groundball after groundball which is which is clearly the mantra of this team. 10 against Volquez and 13 total. Most of their singles were gbs too so they were probably lucky if anything.  When you're hitting groundballs and not line drives that's what happenes aka terrible offense.  It's quote obvious why the never score runs.

This has been a ground ball team for years, look it up. Main reason they have so much trouble getting runners in from third with less than two outs.

Don't doubt it. Lead the majors in gbs this year.

Look up how many line drives the Marlins hit last night.
