With the playoffs set to begin tonight, what are your thoughts on the teams in it? Also, are we gonna do any game threads for the postseason?

I have a feeling we are gonna see an Astros vs Nationals World Series.

But I'm hoping for Rays vs Brewers.

I think the team that can win the most games in each series will likely win it all.

No team can win more than the others. The Brewers, Nationals, Athletics, and Rays can only win 1 game in the Wild Card Round. All of the teams can only win 3 games in the Division Series, and no one can win more than 4 in the Championship Series or the World Series. Anyway, if one of the teams had the ability to win more games, they would probably be upset that they have to win more games to advance than their opponents.

I meant whoever wins the most games in total between all the series. Let's say, first team to win 11 games, maybe 12?

now this is hilarious, no one wanted to do Marlins game threads and you want postseason threads?

Astros in 6, they'll win the title via walk-off.

I tried to do Marlins threads near the end when no one started one. I assume any true fan would watch the playoffs regardless of whether their team was in it and I figured a thread to talk about the games would be more fun than watching alone.

So if the WS is between the Rays and Cardinals and the Cards win in 7, they would both have 11 wins. Who would be declared the champion in that scenario since they both have the same number of wins?

That would have been Yelich in right field. Crazy.
The Marlins influenced the outcome of this game when they put a hit out on Yelich. Amazing how things play out sometimes.
