He is Garbage he wont do better no more. He has No control and keeps the ball up and they are just hitting all those high mistakes he is giving them. If we still had him i Bet we could of Been in contention :p

Yes but i mean the form that he was when he was with us not like he is now. I was trying to say that we should of traded some one else except Dempster....Right now he is Garbage but it would of been nice to have him as he was back in 2000....

Dempster has struggled for a couple years now.

I am actually surprised the Marlins got what they got for him.

He had what one maybe two good years and the rest have been mediocore at best.

You have to read the supporting details from what i posted not just one sentence....i said if we had him we would of been in contention because he was good with us in 2000 and 2001 and when we traded him to the Reds they screwed up his mechanics...

i think when Jim Bowden made the trade, he was assuming he was getting the Dempster who struck 200+ two years ago. he didn't account for the toll of the Jeff Torborg pitching plan... -_-

Torborg only had him for 1 year yes, but i was hearing complaints even then that he was horribly overthrowing his starters. i think that's about 30% of Dempster's current problems. i thing about 60% of it's mental, 5% of it is adjusting to Don Gullet, and the other 5% is trying to find a balance between his movement and control.
