This is to determine the biggest NFL Busts since 1988 in our opinion. When I feel like it  , I'll stop the voting and move on to another position. The "winners" from each round will face each other to get the distinction of the worst draft pick.

How can Leaf *NOT* be the biggest bust in football?

Let's not forget - people were actually debating if Leaf or Manning would be a better NFL QB... :mischief

Leaf was the biggest bust, but as a niner fan my vote is for druckenmiller. He was being groomed to be the next great QB to follow Montana and Young but instead wound up in the XFL

It has to be Leaf. I dont think there should be any arguement here. He was 2nd overall and people argued who was better Manning or Leaf. I think that answers it self.

Leaf- Total Bust
Mirer- At least hes still in the league.
Kingler- The Bungals drafted him so you knew he was going to be a bust.

Although Leaf is the obvious "winner" no bust-worthy poll would be complete without Jeff George

Leaf is classic Bust!!!!!!!!

but we have to keep the subject on QB's only.......

and yes.....

Tony Mandarich was one the biggest busts eva but he was an O line man.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Todd Marinovich man the raiders knew what the got when they picked he did raider like things always getting arrested for weed and crack.....

he is a classic raider, even as i type he is prob somewhere doing heroin. what a loser.....
---------------------------------------------

Rick Mirer This guy sucks so bad that he's not even qualifed to wash a uniform, nevermind wear one. like the fighting irish could produce a great NFL player?
--------------------------------------------------------

I know this list is from 1990 and up...... but im give you 1 name a guy be4 even I da great "ODOM" was born

TODD BLACKlEDGE

from Penn State, is there anybody in this game Penn State that is actually good..... besides Lavar Arrigntion and even he is OVA RATED.....

Todd was drafted by the Cheifs in 83.. BUST BUST BUST Top 3 QB bust of all time

im glad Wuerfell was not on the list. Because can one really be a bust if he's a 4th round draft pick

where's Akili Smith?

somebody mentioned Kijana Carter, i dont want to call him a bust because he did blow out his knee. who knows if things hadnt been different he had stayed healthy

ryan leaf, no question.

when a team uses the #2 pick overall on a QB, typically you'd expect that team to go somewhere.

does anybody think Tim Couch is gonna be close to deserving a spot in this pole in a little while?

im surprised no one other than me has mentioned Akili Smith
