Who should Marlins call up

I think the Marlins should call up Juan Alvarez.... even tho i cant get his stats from the minors he doing pretty good they should call him up and test him. And if anything he goes back down where he came from.Marlins have nothing to lose by calling him up

I AGREE WITH U Juan Alvarez, THIS GUY DESERVED A SPOT ON THE OPENING DAY ROSTER NOT TOMMY ,HE'S PITCHING GOOD WITH A 3.77 ERA AND HAS ONE WIN AND NO LOSSES . HE PROVED THAT HE CAN PITCH IN THE MAJOR LEAGUE LEVEL WHEN HE ONLY ALOUD 1 RUN IN 11 INNINGS DURING THIS SPRING .PLUS HE HAS MAJOR LEAGUE EXPERIANSE. :mischief2

How Obtained: Signed by Florida as a free agent on February 5, 2003.

2002 Highlights: split 2002 season between the Texas Rangers, Double-A Tulsa, and Triple-A Oklahoma, totaling 58.2 innings... finished 0-4 with a 4.76 ERA in 52 games with the Major League team.

Minor League Highlights: spent entire 2001 season at Triple-A Salt Lake in the Angels farm system, posting a 2-2 record and 4.95 ERA in 48 appearances... pitched a career-high 67.1 innings, striking out 44 and walking 27... pitched in 44 games in between Major League stints at Triple-A Edmonton in 2000, finishing 3-1 with a 2.82 ERA in 38.1 innings... began professional career in 1995 with the Boise Hawks of the Northwest League, allowing one run in nine appearances in relief.
