April 29, 200420 yr Author oh the LOVE Correct me if I'm wrong....but isn't clement 30 years old and Dontrell a whopping 22 ? clement who? I know its early but D Lee is hitting 229 so far. Lee for Choi might actually turn out to be a hugh plus for the fish.
April 29, 200420 yr one question. How much money does Clement makes? case closed wasn't Alfonseca part of that deal too. Thats another couple mill
April 29, 200420 yr one question. How much money does Clement makes? case closed wasn't Alfonseca part of that deal too. Thats another couple mill Yea it was Six-Fingers, and Clement for Willis, Tavarez and was there another minor leaguer thrown in the deal for either side?
April 29, 200420 yr was there another minor leaguer thrown in the deal for either side? Catcher Ryan Jorgensen was accquired from that trade as well.
April 29, 200420 yr I know it's juevenile and in bad taste but I'm just so pleased to see Derrek Lee starting off 2004 batting .224, and two homers a month into the season. Keep cashing them Cubs checks baby. Mean-spirited? Probably.
April 30, 200420 yr I'm not at all suprised at Choi's power. All of his homers last year were shots; there wasn't a cheap one in the bunch. That's the kind of power you have to have to be a successful left-handed power hitter at the Pro, and Choi has it. He's just seeing the ball better than he was last year, and flat-out swinging the bat well. Not to mention his eye for balls and strikes is as good as anyone.
April 30, 200420 yr I miss D.Lee... but i am soooo happy with Choi right now, he's something special to our ball club.
